pink party, part II

Throughout the day, we had a birthday girl and her friend run all over the backyard. I don't think it's even possible for me to remember what it was like to have all the energy in the world as a kid. It'd be nice to have all that energy a 5 year old has for a day.

We ate, we feasted, we played with the pets, and we played some football.

Later in the afternoon, we finally got to take our hits on the pinata. But hey, us big kids and adults wanted to play too.

{there's a blue tape in the middle of the pinata, because my dad almost broke the handle on the first hit}

At first only the kids were picking up the candy, but then we saw red envelopes (filled with money) falling out. You guessed it, we ran to the pile as well.

Finally, the night ended with present opening and a plethora of desserts.
