I've always wanted to get cake stands but the ones I've seen were always overpriced.
At a thrift shop, called Sav More Thrift, I found some wonderful plates and candle stands for all less than $1 each! (If you have any Sav More Thrift stores around you, I highly suggest you go, barely anything is higher than $3!)

great DIY! I saw some of these made up at a craft show and they were selling them for much more, so good to know we can make our own so inexpensively!
