Winter Break In A Nutshell

Although the thought of winter break ending and school starting doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth, I had a pretty enjoyable and accomplished last week of break. This is what happened:

moroccan food in la:
loved the brik and pastilla
ate everything with our hands
we were the only people in the restaurant
a refreshing mint tea and almond cake afterwards

heidi's belated birthday:
followed tradition - celebrated 2 months late
blindfolded the whole car ride
indoor rockclimbing
happy hour at mccormick and schmick's
our server: "hi, welcome to Chippendales! your dancer will be with you shortly"
i love my best friends

double date w/ richelle & andrew:
got pictures taken and posed by my 5 year old niece
said goodbye to my best friend who left for Texas :(
all you can eat sushi for the double date
ate until we felt like exploding
intense games of uno
richelle and allen pulled a prank on andrew and i,
they put wasabi in our green tea ice cream
i love those two
well done guys, well done.

By the way, I brought back a little gift for you from Taiwan - a little something to use for school :) I'll be sending it soon! :)

  5. hi! happy new year! this is a very late reply to you question about where i use to live before NC. I use to live in the SF Bay Area before moving up to the Sacramento area of CA. Miss those red ribbon bakeries!
