The Story About How I Turned 20

i turned 20 today. i didn't have anything planned for my birthday and i thought i would just be having a dinner with my family. however, this weekend turned out to be so much more...

as i boarded my flight on friday,
the captain called my name out and wished me a happy birthday. i was so confused, but so happy.

then when i came back home from texas
i saw that my room was single handedly decorated by my brother with tons of pink streamers. (that made my heart warm)



the next saturday morning,
after the vbs meeting, the entire vbs staff surprised me with cupcakes
and i got caked so bad that when i opened my eyes all i could see was frosting
(and my hair turned edible)

on saturday afternoon,
i got tricked into thinking i was just going to eat dinner with allen,
but as i opened the door, all my friends were there!
(then off we went for some yummy burgers)

on saturday night,
as i came home from dinner, thinking i was just gunna watch snl
i opened the door...
and there was another surprise!
(then off we went to play lazertag, like last year)

three surprises in one day.

my heart was about to explode from all the surprises and how much love was surrounding me! i am so blessed and thankful for everyone who came out, wished me a happy birthday, texted me, planned this exciting day for me. you are all the best. thank you Lord for 20 years of life, and placing such wonderful people around me.

special shoutout to my best friend and boyfriend. i love you two mucho and you guys are incredibly special.
