So I'm back, but I do miss Texas! It was one of the most exciting weeks and it was the best way to kick off the summer!
Oh my gosh. The food in Texas is amazing. Sometimes we ate so much our stomachs felt like they were going to explode, sometimes we ate food and craved it again the next day. Here's what we ate:
1. Rudy's - The first thing I ate in Texas. Brisket, cream corn, and Rudy's special BBQ sauce piled on white bread.
2. Los Cucos Mexican Cafe - Tex Mex! Portions were so huge, we couldn't finish our own plates. Shoulda shared :(
3. Tacos in Downtown Dallas - The picadillo and the pastor.
4. Texas Roadhouse - Was about to order a burger, but got told you have to order a steak in Texas! So my friend and I split this prime rib, and it was so yummy and juicy.
5. Babe's Chicken - Family style. Fried chicken and fried chicken steak with the sides of cream corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes.
Now time to detox and exercise...

everything looks soooo good! Texas Roadhouse is one of my faves! Haven't tried any of the others. Will have to check them out next time I'm in Texas!
