now it's time for some d.c. love! i never thought i would like dc as much as i did. it's such a beautiful, clean area with so much history. i love how you're able to walk everywhere without it being too crowded. georgetown is amazing and fun and gah... i'd love to go back!
according to everyone's recommendations, georgetown cupcakes was a popular "must go" place. i was excited for it too because i love their show. for example, one time there was a dc cupcakes marathon playing, and after 4 episode it prompted me to run to the market so i can buy supplies to make cupcakes.
after shopping in georgetown, we finally reached this popular location. needless to say, i didn't get a cupcake. you can see why...
as much as i would love to try one, i was not going to wait in a 2 hour line. maybe next time! dc residents, what time of the day is the best time to go?

ReplyDeleteI know, the city is SO CLEAN! Haha, I think that was one of the surprising things about it! But Georgetown is such an awesome place to shop - I love that area :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say that there is a time of day is best, but there is a certain season that is best. Go in the winter and bring a coat, seems that not as many people like to stand in line in the cold.

that is one freakin crazy cupcake line for sure! wow!!!
ReplyDeletego to the other location! smaller but the line goes quicker! either in the morning or around dinnertime. people are eating elsewhere and don't want cupcakes just yet!
