This weekend (yay for 3 day weekends!), I cleaned. Because that's what I do when I want to avoid doing everything else.
However, cleaning this time had another purpose. I realized that I had supplies here and there and I also wanted to display all my crafting supplies so they were visible.
To do this, I had to clean out my 3 tier bookshelf to have one shelf completely empty. This involved throwing away lots of papers, finding notes from middle school (my handwriting then consisted of way too many bubbled e's), and lots of geometry and history notes from high school, which I do not mind parting with. At all.
For the most part, I got to display everything I wanted to, with some things still tucked away in my other drawer. It makes me happy every time I see this shelf. I love it!

{Neon index cards, white labels, neon glitter, shipping tags}

{Calligraphy pens, sharpees, fancy scissors, paint}

{A butter holder from Dollar Tree for happy tape worked perfectly}

{Photo inserts, mini clothespins, buttons, sequins in mini jars}

{Yarn, ribbon, paper supplies in a Ferrero Rocher box}

{Envelopes, cards, stickers, and tons of neon}
Do you have a craft room? What does your crafting space look like?

I wish I had a cute craft room like yours! And way to go for cleaning on your holiday! haha!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so neat! You inspire me to do a little cleaning of my own. Wish me luck. I hope mine turns out as neat as yours.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I need a craft shelf immediately so I can no longer have a crafts-all-over-my-home situation!
