I've been wanting to check out this little gem called Churros Calientes in West LA, so off we went. Let me just tell you, Churros Calientes es muy delicioso! The restaurant was a small lively place and had dim lighting that added to the whole ambiance. The owners there were also extremely nice. I was watching them interact with their customers and it was evident that many were regulars who continue to come back because of the good food and service. It gave me a small affirmation that opening a cafe/restaurant should be placed in my future... :)
How fun! I bet you and your roomate had a lot of fun. I've been meaning to make my own churros with chocolate dipping sauce, but I need to get around to it. Fun pics!

Yummy! I've made churros before and they were super easy to make and much better than any I've ver eaten. Maybe it's because I used a little too much sugar. But 2 pounds were totally worth it.
