The first couple Allen and I have ever double dated with and continue to do so till this day are our lovely friends, Richelle and Andrew. I remember the first time we went out together (roaming LA for Richelle's project), the first day Richelle met Allen (how she secretly gave me the thumbs up when he wasn't looking), and the first day Andrew and Allen met (and got along so well together). We are so thankful for these two people.
Even though that happened about 2 1/2 years ago, we still manage to keep gatherings till today. Though they aren't as often as we would like due to our schedules, they still happen... and that's all that matters. This weekend we planned on meeting and going out for a dinner and a movie. But last minute, Allen and I decided we wanted to make dinner for them and you could only guess what we made.... food of the japanese cuisine, of course.
I can't take the credit for the dinner though. I have this bad habit of not following directions and estimating everything in the kitchen. I have learned that there is a greater chance of it turning out wrong than it turning out right. Allen has also realized this too, so he's been taking control in the kitchen. I can't really complain about that since I'm much happier doing decor and setting the table anyway. ;)
I love a nice dinner in the backyard and that's what we did! Thanks for a great night Andrelle!
